The Dome of Vahramashen Church

$35.00

The first thing I behold when stepping into an Armenian church is the dome. To the point that I don’t watch where I walk along the centuries old uneven floors and often trip, but it is all worth the effort to fully observe and embrace the architectural beauty of this church from 1026. I hoped to capture this and the light coming in through the bell tower to shine on the cross.

Part of my collection of paintings from my last trip to Armenia in 2023, I hope to capture these one of a kind moments from my homeland and document the beauty of my culture.
